Here it is, a new Video, new song from my upcoming album to be released this year.
“BA = NY / SJ = LA”.
From now and on i decided to make Music under just my last name “Delahaye”, cause even though is my personal project in some way i’ve turned this now into a more collaborative thing.
Musically, more influenced by the 70’s golden era but specially with a strong sound influence from the 80’s Pop Music.
The Team is Ezequiel Ghilardi on Drums, Nick Paul on Keyboards/Synths & Ross Clark on Guitars (both from one of my favorite bands:St.Lucia).
Recorded and mixed by Eduardo Bergallo. Video by Daniel Lopez Escobedo.

Here i am, starting up at this new fun thing: #grooveoftheweek on Instagram.
This is the idea: One short video with a Bass Groove every week (As long as possible).
The groove will be followed by another, then picked up from the previous line on the next one…Casual, it could not be necessarily great Audio quality, it could be in my studio, in someone else’s studios or stage/soundcheck.
I have been working on new Projects as usual. I started tracking some new songs already for a new Solo Album…I think it’s a logical evolution from “Songs About NY” and it’s gonna be more Pop and 80’s oriented.
I just recorded in Buenos Aires some songs with Gabriel Pedernera & Rodrigo Crespo. Back in NYC, Nick Paul (from St. Lucia) joined those sessions for some Keyboards. It’s going great so far.
In the meantime, I felt like it’s a good time to be in Los Angeles. Recording sessions & playing music is what it brought me here. I really like the idea of being on both places (NY & LA), and this is not impossible.
On a personal side, I found many connections with San Juan (Argentina), were i was born…I’m finding everyday many similitudes with my roots, i can’t describe how good it feels this to me right now.
I came to the conclusion Buenos Aires = New York, same San Juan = Los Angeles.
